As many of you know, our company is a Christian owned and ran organization. No, we are not a church, nor do we preach at anyone, but we are proud of what and who we are. Our company has been blessed so many times. That being said, in our business and with how many people we have internally, a lot of things can go sour, but what causes that? I have written a short note on the one thing that can make any business fail. The Devil. Without sounding strange or crazy, as Christians, we believe that the devil is always working behind the scenes to take down those who are becoming successful in any area of life. As Christians, we have to be aware of that fact at all times, especially when strife hits the business.
If I were the devil, I would break down communication, cut off supply lines and promote everyone doing that which is right in their own eyes. I would get people to focus more on how others treat them rather than how they treat others. I would constantly remind them of the faults of others in order to blind them to their own faults. I would encourage them to murmur and complain when they feel someone has done them wrong rather than confront the offender and talk with them directly.
If I were the devil, I would make them envious of others and discontent with what they currently have. I would also, make them content with what they have DONE. I would make them fearful and want to quit when opposition came their way, so they would be less effective in their work for God. I would get them to make excuses for their failures instead of making plans to overcome them. I would make them forget they “can do all things through Christ” by distracting them with self-reliance.
If I were the devil, I would make them so busy they forget to pray, read their Bible, attend church faithfully and tell others about Christ. I would convince them they could indulge in a “little sin” here and there since they do so much good for God. I would encourage them to seek their own agenda rather than submitting to their God given authorities. I would cause problems at home so they would be distracted at work.
If I were the devil, I would make them self-centered and selfish and cause them to throw childish fits when they don’t get their way. I would convince them they were always right and that constructive criticism should be ignored. I would make them feel worthless and that what they do doesn’t matter. I would make them angry with themselves and get them to take that anger out on others. I would wreak havoc in their lives and get them to blame each other instead of me.

With all that in mind, we want to encourage you to fight these things off and let God take control of everything.
